The Mitate vessel was created in 2023 from an original design by the acclaimed Kyoto-based flower artist Mitate Nishiyama. The project was a collaboration between Mitate, YALI and Arts & Science, Japan.

These unique handblown vessels were created for Mitate’s delicate floral arrangements using wild flowers and seasonal plants. They are also perfect for burning incense. The Mitate vessel is designed to be used in conjunction with the handcrafted Pebble and Yarn incense holder.
